We all have a reason to fight for a world without cancer.

Cancer will strike one in two men and one in three women in their lifetimes. One in 285 children will be diagnosed with cancer before their 20th birthday.

With so many affected by the disease, we all have a personal reason to fight for a world without cancer and to improve the treatment options, outcomes and quality of life for those battling all cancers. The need for funding innovative research has only intensified, as large federal grants are only awarded to already proven concepts.

100% of the dollars raised by the Pedal the Cause community provide direct funding for cancer research, cancer discovery grants and clinical translational care not currently eligible for federal funds. Following the “venture capital” model seeding new ideas at our beneficiaries, Pedal the Cause dollars allow for proof of concept and cultivation of critical data. These burgeoning projects often lead to incremental successes that garner large external grants, which have produced groundbreaking treatments, clinical trials, preventions and early detection diagnostics.

12:1 ROI

For every $1 Pedal the Cause donates to cancer research an additional $12 is obtained (on average) in outside funding, resulting in over $550 million in leveraged funds.

Pedal the Cause is a community of like-minded individuals with one goal: to fund the cutting-edge research that will one day end cancer.
