Gear up and get ready to ride!

Join us for an exhilarating training ride in preparation for the Pedal the Cause 2025. We've added a brand new Training Ride to our lineup in Kirkwood, giving you even more opportunities to ride and train with the Pedal community. Choose from supported course options for all skill levels, then relax on the outdoor patio at 4 Hands Brewery - Kirkwood with live music, an ice-cold Pedal the Cause City Wide, and delicious eats available from Peacemaker Lobster & Crab.

Pedal the Cause training rides are FREE and open to all, but registration is required. You must pick a course to register, but option to change course is available on ride day. On site registration available.

Event Timeline:

6:30am: Parking & rider check-in opens

6:55am: Pre-rider announcements & instructions
7:00am: All rides start with lead out by Police

8:30am-12:00pm: Post-ride food & refreshments

11:00am: Course support ends and all courses close

10:00am-1:00pm: Live music

    • Access the church lot on Clay Ave. between Argonne Dr. and Jefferson Ave.
  • Kirkwood Public Parking Lot | 110 N Clay Ave, Kirkwood, MO 63122
    • at the corner of W. Jefferson Ave. & N Clay Ave., next to Mike Duffy's
  • Kirkwood Police Station | 131 W Madison Ave, Kirkwood, MO 63122
  • Free Parking recommended on the following streets:
    • W. Jefferson Ave. | S. Clay Ave. | E. Argonne Dr. on the east side of Kirkwood Rd.

TRAINING RIDE FEATURES:

  • Fully Supported Rides: Rest assured, we've got you covered! Our rides come fully supported with SAG (Support and Gear) vehicles, refueling stations, and marked routes. SAG support number available at event.
  • Wayfinding Markers & Cue Sheets: Don't worry about getting lost. Courses will be marked with wayfinding signage and chalk marks. Turn-by-turn cue sheets with details will be available onsite to guide you through your journey.
  • Free Admission: The training ride is free to Pedal participants with a suggested $10-15 donation.
  • Post-Ride Party: Enjoy post-ride live music, yard games, refreshments, food, and a Pedal the Cause City Wide!
