We’re gearing up for another amazing year of creating a world without cancer Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22 at the Family Arena, St. Charles. We are back to one day of riding on Sunday, so our teams can spend the weekend together and share the Pedal the Cause experience as a family.
Pedal the Cause 2024 will feature 8 course options (6 road and 2 gravel), our signature Spin Zone, our Inspired virtual participation option and our Kids Challenge.

Please Join us for our 12th annual customer appreciation ride. We are teaming up with STL favorites Kaldis, Companion, 4 Hands Brewery, and Pedal the Cause for a free training ride.
We’ll have three distances – 25 miles, 40 miles, or 50 miles. We’ll be rolling from the heart of the City Foundry in Downtown West. We’ll have plenty of monitored parking on the West entry across from the IKEA.
The Tour des Sharks training ride feaures our support for Pedal the Cause. Please consider riding in this year’s edition! www.pedalthecause.org Join us and sign up to fight cancer. If you’re not registered you can sign up or donate to the Bikes, Beans, and Brews team!

Gear up and get ready to ride! Join us for an exhilarating training ride in preparation for the Pedal the Cause 2026. Choose from supported course options for all skill levels, then relax on the outdoor patio at 4 Hands Brewery – Kirkwood with live music, an ice-cold Pedal the Cause City Wide, and delicious eats available from Peacemaker Lobster & Crab.
Fully Supported Rides: Rest assured, we’ve got you covered! Our rides come fully supported with SAG (Support and Gear) vehicles, refueling stations, and marked routes. SAG support number available.
Wayfinding Markers & Cue Sheets: Don’t worry about getting lost. Courses will be marked with wayfinding signage and chalk marks. Turn-by-turn cue sheets with details will be available onsite to guide you through your journey.
Admission: The training ride is free to Pedal participants with a suggested donation of $10-15.
Post-Ride Party: Enjoy post-ride live music, yard games, refreshments, food, and a Pedal the Cause City Wide!
This event is FREE to all Pedal the Cause participants, but registration is REQUIRED. You must pick a course to register, but option to change course is available on ride day. On site registration available.

Choose the pace group that’s right for you:
- Group A: 30 miles | 20+ mph
- Group B: 20 miles | 16–18 mph
- Group C: 18 miles | 13–16 mph
The ride will be led by South Side Cyclery Club mentors. Also, enjoy Goshen Coffee and snacks, available with a donation to Pedal the Cause.

Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just starting out, there’s a course option for everyone! After the ride, hang out with friends, family, and teammates in The Hub STL outdoor space enjoying live music or inside 4 Hands Brewery where ice-cold, Pedal the Cause City Wide will be served!

Join Team Joy Riders for the Goshen 2 Goshen Ride, a fun, no-drop group ride benefiting Pedal the Cause and lifesaving cancer research in St. Louis.
We’ll roll out from Goshen Coffee Roasters in Soulard at 8:00 a.m. and ride approximately 23 miles one way (46 miles roundtrip) to Goshen Coffee in Edwardsville at a relaxed 12–15 mph party pace. Whether you’re looking for a training ride or simply want to enjoy a morning with fellow cyclists, all are welcome.
Participants will receive free protein bites before the ride, and anyone who donates to Team Joy Riders will receive 15% off one item at all Goshen Coffee cafés on August 29.
