St. Louis restaurants and retailers join forces to help create a world without cancer

A World Without Cancer Day is an opportunity for the entire St. Louis community to join the movement to end cancer. Participating restaurants and retailers will donate a portion of their sales to support Pedal the Cause in their efforts to fund innovative cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Join the first ever 24-hour Pickleball-a-thon on August 2-3, 2025 at Paddle Up Pickleball Club in Chesterfield. You’ll take on Axes employees in a friendly game of pickleball and every dollar raised goes to Pedal the Cause.

Gear up and get ready to ride! Join us for an exhilarating training ride in preparation for the Pedal the Cause 2025. We’ve added a brand new Training Ride to our lineup in Kirkwood, giving you even more opportunities to ride and train with the Pedal community.

Choose from supported course options for all skill levels, then relax on the outdoor patio at 4 Hands Brewery – Kirkwood with live music, an ice-cold Pedal the Cause City Wide, and delicious eats available from Peacemaker Lobster & Crab.

Fully Supported Rides: Rest assured, we’ve got you covered! Our rides come fully supported with SAG (Support and Gear) vehicles, refueling stations, and marked routes. SAG support number available.

Wayfinding Markers & Cue Sheets: Don’t worry about getting lost. Courses will be marked with wayfinding signage and chalk marks. Turn-by-turn cue sheets with details will be available onsite to guide you through your journey.

Admission: The training ride is free to Pedal participants with a suggested donation of $10-15.

Post-Ride Party: Enjoy post-ride live music, yard games, refreshments, food, and a Pedal the Cause City Wide!

This event is FREE to all Pedal the Cause participants, but registration is REQUIRED. You must pick a course to register, but option to change course is available on ride day. On site registration available.

Join us for the 2nd Annual Pickleball for the Cause Fundraising Tournament! Come ready to play and have fun! We have the courts for 3 hours, so feel free to stay when you are done and cheer on other teams. The remaining courts will be available for open play for players not competing in the playoff games. You can also grab some great food and drinks, buy more raffle tickets, and enjoy many other activities at CHICKEN N PiCKLE!

(teams can be 2 men, 2 women or mixed)

Cost: $100/team (all goes to Pedal the Cause), which includes the following:

-Minimum of 3 games on indoor courts
-$10 gift card for each player to Joey B’s resaurants
-1 raffle ticket to choose between 2 Callahan pickleball events or a signed book
