Dierbergs “Round-Up At The Register” Campaign Supports Critical Cancer Research

August 12, 2025

ST. LOUIS (August 12, 2025) — Dierbergs Markets is proud to support local St. Louis non-profit Pedal the Cause through a “Round Up at the Register” campaign, launching August 12 at all Dierbergs stores in the St. Louis area.

The campaign runs through September 15, 2025, during which Dierbergs customers can contribute by rounding up their purchases to the nearest dollar, or by donating any amount at checkout. Dierbergs Rewards Members can donate their rewards points to Pedal the Cause in the App or online. One hundred percent of all donations will fund critical cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital through Pedal the Cause.

For the second year in a row, Dierbergs has joined forces with 4 Hands Brewing Co. to drive meaningful support for cancer research, featuring in-store displays and a give-back initiative through the sale of 4 Hands’ City Wide beer. From September 2 through September 27, $1 per case of City Wide sold at Dierbergs stores will be donated to Pedal the Cause. This powerful activation raises funds and strengthens a purpose-driven partnership committed to fueling groundbreaking advancements in cancer research.

“Our support for Pedal the Cause is rooted in our commitment to disease prevention research and the communities we serve,” said Laura Dierberg Padousis, executive vice president at Dierbergs Markets. “By joining this incredible movement, our customers and Associates are helping us fund lifesaving discoveries and stand with those impacted by cancer – our neighbors, colleagues, friends and families.”

“Dierbergs Markets has long been a key in-kind supporter of Pedal the Cause, generously supplying food for our event weekend,” said David Drier, executive director at Pedal the Cause. “This year, Dierbergs’ generosity reaches new heights with their register round-up campaign. Their increased support allows us to fund even more transformative research that is advancing how we treat and cure cancers at our incredible hospital beneficiaries and beyond.”
