Pedal the Cause is thrilled to announce 4 Hands Brewing Company as a new Contributing Sponsor and beverage partner of the organization. 4 Hands, and their brand 1220 Spirits, will provide a variety of beverages for Pedal the Cause participants to enjoy at the main event on September 23 & 24 in Chesterfield. At the event, they will host a biergarten lounge where riders can relax on Saturday night during Taste the Cause and on Sunday post-ride. Additionally, 4 Hands will create a “Pedal the Cause Lager,” a low-ABV lager with hints of lime and salt, which will be available starting at the end of August on draft at their tasting room and in cans at select Schnucks and Dierbergs grocery stores around St. Louis.
“We are honored to welcome 4 Hands to the Pedal Family,” said David Drier, executive director of Pedal the Cause. “They are true leaders in the market, not just in the quality and innovation of their beer and spirits, but in their dedication to the community.
“We have envisioned a Pedal beer for many years and are thrilled to finally see this come to life with their support. Their generosity will prove incredibly impactful as we work to fund world-class cancer research, and their presence will without a doubt enhance our event experience.”
“Since opening the brewery, we’ve always wanted to be more than beer, a partner of our community and a pillar that helps make St. Louis a better St. Louis,” Kevin Lemp, CEO and founder of 4 Hands Brewing Company. “In collaboration with Pedal the Cause, we’ve created an easy-drinking, super refreshing beer that, in addition to tasting great, will support their great work. It’s an honor to be able to give back in this way and to be more than beer, an important goal of ours in all that we do.”
The Pedal the Cause Lager will launch on Saturday, August 20, 2023 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at The Hub in Chesterfield. The Hub is home to 4 Hands’ newest tasting room location, set to open in August 2023. The Hub will become the centerpiece for The District, the entertainment destination development by The Staenberg Group, that most notably includes The Factory music venue.
