Start a Corporate Team
The Power of a Team
Creating a Pedal the Cause corporate team has many benefits and is a fantastic way to galvanize your employees around a charitable cause. Not only does a Pedal the Cause team promote employee bonding, it also supports a strong company culture.
Why start a corporate team?
How to start & GROW a team
1) Choose a Team Captain – Pick a Team Captain (or multiple co-captains) who will rally your team and lead your efforts.
2) Create Your Team – The Team Captain should register for the event HERE, and they will create a team during the registration process. During registration, when asked to join a team, select “Create a Team” and follow the easy prompts. Once the team has been created, anyone else who registers (riders, spinners, virtual Inspired, volunteers and Kids Challengers) can join your team.
3) Grow Your Team – Recruit your coworkers and their families and friends to register and join your team! Host a "Lunch & Learn" (we'll come and give a short presentation!) or organize a fun recruitment happy hour or event to build excitement around the team. Order custom team jerseys or team gear to incentivize participation.
4) Encourage Fundraising - Leverage company support with coupon codes (custom codes for free registration or discounted fundraising based on corporate support) or learn more about potential matching donations that are available from your company.
